A cute snowman

Today Marcos and Yago, two 8 year old pupils, were making this awesome snowman. It's not white, it's not made of snow, it's on playground, but...does it, really, matter?.
They also took the photo. Welcome artists and thanks a lot for your untiredless enthusiam!!

MOON OVER SAN ROQUE CHAPEL IN VIVEIRO INSIDE ENGLISH SCHOOLS

Dani Caxete wrote a letter to Greenwich Observatory to say Thank you. Are you ready to translate it?

A foto da lúa chea sobre a capela de san Roque de Viveiro, nas aulas de Primaria do sur do Reino Unido El autor, Dani Caxete, agradece el reconocimiento del Observatorio de Greenwich

Gostaríame dar as grazas ao Observatorio de Greenwich do Reino Unido, contando por cuarto ano cunha das miñas fotos no seu concurso Insinght Astronomy Photographer of the Year 2015 de fotografía astronómica de gran repercusión a nivel mundial.

Some archivists are digitising newspapers

Not fade away, not disappear... how robots are preserving our old newspapers

Nicola Davis. The Guardian 5th July 2015

In a Yorkshire outpost of the British Library, archivists using the latest conservation technology are racing to digitise 300 years of newspapers before they crumble to dust – and that’s just for starters
